Amber & Jasmine Cottages – Terms & Conditions

Deposit Payment of Balance
A non-returnable deposit of 25% of the holiday cost is required at time of booking, the balance being due one month prior to your arrival date.

Cancellation
If you have to cancel your booking, every effort will be made to re-let . If successful, the deposit less £10 for each weeks booking will be refunded. If unsuccessful the deposit will be retained.
If we have to cancel your booking for any reason you will be refunded the full amount paid at that date.

Availability
The hiring contract is made on the understanding that the property will be available for the dates stated. In the unlikely event the property is not available through events arising out of control of the owners, (e.g. flood, fire, weather damage, theft, criminal damage, drought or interruption of utility etc) then the owners will advise the hirer of such circumstances as early as possible and will refund all monies paid in full – but the hirer will have no further claim against the owners.

Number of Occupants
The number of persons using the accommodation at any time must not exceed the number agreed at time of booking.

Damage
The hirer is responsible for the accommodation and its contents and undertakes to take all reasonable care of it and to leave it in the same condition as found. Any breakages or damage should be reported and the owners reserve the right to charge for any non-trivial damage.

Accidents, Injury and Personal Property
The owners shall have no liability for the death or personal injury to you or to any member of your party. Baggage and personal belongings are at hirers risk at all times. No liability to you is accepted in respect of damage to or loss of hirer’s vehicles and contents.

Smoking
The accommodation is non-smoking – please do not smoke inside.

Pets
Regret no pets are accepted.

Problems or complaints
Every effort has been made to ensure you have an enjoyable holiday and to date we have had no complaints or problems! If you feel you have cause for complaint please contact us immediately to give us a chance to resolve it. We value your custom and want you to return!

Access Statement for Crickley Court Cottages

Introduction

Situated in the village of Witcombe, close to major road links and 15 minutes from both Cheltenham and Gloucester but also in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Amber and Jasmine Cottages are an excellent base for visiting the many attractive towns and villages in the Cotswolds or, indeed, just taking it easy!

Our Holiday Cottages at Crickley Court are both very well equipped, can accommodate up to 10 guests between them and both have been awarded the ‘VisitBritain’ 4 Stars rating.

Come and stay in one of our Cottages and take pleasure in visiting Gloucestershire’s unrivalled English countryside!

Pre-Arrival

  • Key Collection, Welcome and Car Parking
  • The owners live close by the cottages, will meet you on arrival and show you around.
  • There is plenty of off road parking around the cottages.
  • The cottages front and car parking area has a Cotswold stone chippings surface.
  • This area is well lit at night by motion sensor lights and both cottages  have external lights.

Entrance to Property

  • There is level access to both cottages into the hall area – laminated floor.

Halls, Stairs, Landings, Passageways

  • Jasmine Cottage – the carpeted staircase to the first floor has 14 steps   with a handrail on one side – L shaped with square landing halfway.
  • Amber Cottage – a wooden spiral staircase leads to the first floor, with hand rails on both sides.

Sitting Room/Lounge

  • In both cottages the open plan sitting room/kitchen is situated on the first floor with level entry from the stairs.
  • Lighting is natural daylight with overhead lighting used as well as table lamps around the room.
  • Flooring is wood laminate.
  • Both rooms have a mixture of seating with sofa and dining chairs, together with a dining table and low coffee table.

Dining Room

  • Open plan sitting, dining area and kitchen in both cottages.

Kitchen

  • Both cottages have worktop with washer-dryer, dishwasher, oven and hob and, under worktop, separate fridge and freezer. Worktop height is 36 inches.

Bedrooms and Sleeping Areas

  • Both cottages have 2 bedrooms each on the ground floor – no steps. Bedrooms can be prepared as either double or twin bedded rooms apart from the second bedroom in Amber Cottage, which is twin bedded.
  • Jasmine Cottage has a double bed settee in the open plan area upstairs.

Bathrooms, Shower-rooms and Toilets

In Jasmine Cottage, the main bathroom has step free, level access with laminate flooring and a shower over the bath. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower room also with step free, level access and laminate flooring – the shower has a one step lip surround.

Amber Cottage’s bathroom has step free, level access and laminate flooring with a bath and separate shower, the latter with a one step lip surround.

Garden

Each cottage has its own fenced garden with paved area, table, seats, sun umbrella and rotary washing line. Guests are also welcome to wander round the main house garden, which is on a slope, though terraced. Please bare in mind that this is a family home as well and family members may be using the garden. The children’s play area which guests may use, is used entirely at their own risk – children are the responsibility of, and must be accompanied by, an adult at all times. The children’s play area has swings, slide and climbing frame and Trampoline.
