Crickley Court cottages

Beautiful cottages in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Crickley Court was at one time a coaching inn called ‘The Crown’ and it is thought to be at least 300 years old.The inn also had stables, which were for the extra horses required to help pull the coaches up Crickley Hill. Our two holiday cottages at Crickley Court were converted from the Old Stable Block. They are very well equipped and both have been awarded the ‘VisitBritain’ 4 Stars rating.

Both Amber and Jasmine Cottages can accommodate 4 people though Jasmine Cottage also has a double bed settee, so could accommodate up to 6 people Рa total of 10 guests. Sleeping arrangements are flexible and you can choose between a super king size bed or twin beds. The main bedroom in Jasmine Cottage also has an en-suite shower room. All bathrooms have a wall fitted hairdryer and we provide towels, liquid soaps and shampoos Рall help to ease those aching joints after a hard days sightseeing!  We also have plenty of games and books for guests to use and enjoy.

Both cottages are fully equipped with washing machine / dryer; dishwasher; electric oven and hob; microwave; fridge and freeze; toaster and kettle – as well as books, games and TV with DVD for a relaxing stay! Bed linen, towels, heating and electricity are included in the price. Cot, high chair and stairgate are available if required. Each cottage has storage heaters while there is also a wood burning stove for those cooler evenings in autumn or winter. Each cottage has its own garden with garden furniture and washing line.

Crickley Court garden covers two acres and guests are welcome to wander around. There are also children’s swings, slide and a climbing frame as well as a tree house for the more energetic youngsters!

Great for families.

This was wonderful for us. The beds were extremely comfortable and the cottage was very spacious. It was a great starting point for our many day trips around the Cotswolds. My children (8 & 10) loved the tree swings and trampoline. Everyone agreed that our stay in the Cotswolds was the best part of our English holiday and that was definitely due in part to the fantastic accommodations!

Excellent Everything We Wanted

Just returned from 5 night stay with our daughter, son-in-law and 5 month old grandson. We were met by the owner John on arrival and he showed us around the cottage and the gardens with all the children’s play areas. Jasmine cottage was just what we needed well equipped, comfortable, clean and modern. We visited relatives in Birmingham and visited Bristol all within easy reach, the cottage made a perfect base to get around. The local facilities are excellent with the local pubs ranging from real ale old world type to the national chain family value pubs. A very large Tesco is only 5 minutes drive away so eating in is easy. We travel up from Cornwall several times a year and will be booking Jasmine Cottage again.

Spacious cottage in a great location

We stayed at this property as a family of 5 (kids 8, 10, 12) as a basis for day trips in the Cotswolds and the surrounding area. We found it to be perfect for that purpose. Our children enjoyed the trampoline and the swing on the property and having so much space to sleep and hang out after tight quarters in London. The cottage was very clean and well maintained, and we enjoyed having 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds and 2 bathrooms. John was very helpful in meeting to let us in and greet us, as well as provide suggestions for the area. The cottage was a great home base for visits to Bath, the Cotswold Falconry Center, Warwick Castle, the Corinium Museum, and even a long day trip to Wales for coasteering and tidepooling. Foston’s Ash was an excellent restaurant not far from the property, and we had breakfast and dinner a couple times at the very close 12 Bells, which was good and convenient. The main road nearby was not an issue and had the added benefit of allowing us easier and quicker access to our destinations during our stay. It is a fine property and a great base for touring the area.
